Eve Lom's multitasking and award-winning balm cleanser is seriously a godsend. I use it every night to take off my makeup. It not only removes the most reluctant waterproof makeup, but also takes care of any sweat or dirt that you accumulate throughout the day. With continuous, regular use it will give your skin a brighter and smoother complexion.
Vogue quoted it as “the best cleanser in the world”.
Also, a small amount goes a long way. You really don't need too much for it to do its work, which is unlike most products out there. A good tidbit about this product is that Eve Lom sells muslin cloths (seen in photo above) to help remove stubborn makeup.
With the cold weather creeping it's head around the corner a gentle soothing cleanser is perfect to take off the dirt and grime of the day, and eliminates the issue of dry skin. Most other products can't make that guarantee, so it's definitely worth trying out.
Tatcha has wonderful products, but their packaging is where it’s at! Their choice of design and labels for their products are executed beautifully! I actually save all the boxes and use them to store and display perfumes, makeup, and all kinds of girly stuff. To add, Tatcha has great samples! If you sign up to their website about every two months you can order free travel size products. If you do decide to sign up their VIP perks are totally worth it.
When using the classic rice enzyme powder you start by shaking a small amount of powder into damp hands. Then mix onto already wet skin. It makes your skin feel like silk once it’s all rinsed off. This can be used every other day. It’s very gentle, especially for an exfoliant.
I use the scrub once a week in the shower. First, I apply it to my face once I get in the shower, and let it sit for about fifteen minutes. After shaving, shampooing and conditioning my ridiculously long hair, and all that good stuff it’s time to rinse it off. I like letting it really soak into my skin to get the full effect. I use the classic, but I have also have the gentle. Both are splendid for sensitive skin types.
Tatcha offers a the deep hydration lifting face mask, and also a great revitalizing eye mask. Hydrating masks are totally the new trend instead of basic moisturizer creams, which are so last year. Tons of celebrities use them. In fact, some have even posted selfies wearing them, including Lady Gaga, January Jones, and of course Lindsay Lohan.
Definitely, a ballsy move. When I put them on I feel like leather face straight out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Not something I want to be documented for the world to see, haha. But hey, no shame, no game. (I think I used the phrase correctly). But I digress, these masks are way more efficient then most moisturizers, and really does cure dry skin after these long summer days.
The camellia beauty oil is a perfect way to complete this face wash regime. It does cost a bit more then most, but what do you expect when it comes with flakes of gold at the bottom. I don’t know what better way to feel rich and lavish by finishing my nightly beauty routine with a touch of gold. It defines flossy skin.
I highly suggest you invest in some Tatcha products for your next spa night. You won’t be disappointed I can tell you confidently with experience.

It’s summertime! With summer comes outdoor activities and soaking up as much rays as possible. But all that galavanting around may take a toll on your skin, so here is an awesome regimen that will keep you glowing all summer long.
First, start with the Clarins pure melt cleansing gel to remove your makeup, or any build up throughout the day. Use as much as you like, because this product is so gentle and won’t dry out your skin.
After you have removed all your makeup take a little dab of the Kate Somerville dual-action exfoliant in the palm of your hand, and using your finger tips lightly massage the scrub evenly in a circular motion all over your face and neck. DO NOT SCRUB when applying to your face, especially if your skin is sensitive or already irritated. The enzymes in this cream will do all the work for you. It will clean out the dirt that is deep down in your pores, helps fight against acne and blackheads, and also diminishes discoloration from the sun. Leave the scrub on for about half a minute, and then rinse it off. Now, no one should use an exfoliant every night, but this is great to use at least once or twice a week. Anymore then that though will leave your skin feeling a bit raw, no matter how good the product is.
The Dermal Quench (seen in silver bottle in picture above) can be used either in the morning or at night, or even both, why not! But there is a method to this product. It needs to be shaken vigorously right before use, and put on in steps. I'm sure there is a video on how to apply, but I’ll give you a crash course explanation. Basically, it’s three sprays on one side of the face, rub in, then three sprays on the other side of face, rub in, and finally one spray across forehead, and rub in. Make sure to avoid eyes and lips when applying spray. This is the best product for instant hydration. It also helps with wrinkles and dry skin alike.
Kate Somerville products are the best of the best. You can find both of these on Sephora by just clicking on the pictures above. QVC offers a Kate Somerville special value about twice a year, normally around the holidays, which will typically be a supersize version of these two products that you can't find anywhere else for such a great price. I always keep an eye out for those.
The final step for this regimen is spraying a mist of this Avéne pure natural water all over your face, and just let your skin soak it up. I use this every night after whatever product I use to wash my face. The Avéne is used most of all for hydration, but it also works to heal damaged skin. I buy my Avéne on Amazon, where you can get it for a good price and with Prime free delivery. You can buy either the large 300mL bottle, or the smaller travel size option.
What I love to do with this product is spray some on two tissues, and use it as an eye mask; by simply laying them over your eyes for about 20 minutes. This is perfect for when your eyes are itchy or swollen from allergies, or too much makeup, or too much everything! You can see your skin calm down immediately.
If some of these products are a bit out of your price range then here are some similar products you can use for a lower cost. A more affordable option for an exfoliant is the Clarins gentle exfoliating cleanser with orange extract. It does all of the same things as the Kate Somerville exfoliant, except for the fact that it's not made with those healing enzymes. Hey, you have to cut your losses somewhere if you want the same product for half the price. You can also get a more affordable version of the Avéne spray, either on Sephora or Amazon, offered by Evian. Both products are shown in the picture above.
Hope this face wash regimen helps your skin glow during these long summer days. Now you go on, and glow girl.
