By: Jacqueline Stafford After a long week the best way I like to relax and unwind is by soaking away all my stress and problems with a soothing bubble bath. This luxury isn’t exclusive to children only. Adults can get just as much out of bath time too, but instead of toys (even though I still have rubber duckies purely for presentation purposes) our fun comes from what we decide to put in our baths. Here are three great products that can make your spa night that much better. All these products can be purchased from Sephora. The Josie Maran oil can also be purchased from QVC in a jumbo size (6 oz instead of Sephora's largest which is 4 oz.) and the price is better, too. This Laura Mercier body and bath product, will give your tubby a light bubbly effect. Even though it’s a foaming, honey scented moisturized bath blend you won’t be drowning in bubbles. What it’s really great for is the soothing scent and moisturizing effect, allowing you to feel refreshed and flossy once your out of the tub and dried off. The aroma is not overwhelming, which is something I do take into consideration. So many products out there have such a strong flowery perfume that it can be too intense. That brings me to this incredibly relaxing lavender bubble bath product made by L’Occitane. It’s again a very delicate foaming liquid. All you have to do is pour a decent amount under running water before getting into the tub. Once you have the bathtub filled you can dip your body right into the inviting bubbles, and you’ll immediately feel your muscles relaxing. The scent is really what makes this product so incredible. Now, if your an especially tense person, or you just had a really bad day, this product will do you wonders. Lavender flowers, or lavender extracts have been proven to reduce anxiety and depression for individuals who suffer from these symptoms. So this will surely help you calm down after an especially rough day. This Josie Maran product is 100 percent pure argan oil, which can be added to your bath leaving your skin feeling completely moisturized and silky smooth. Right now QVC only has the argan oil light, which I prefer in the summer but of course I have both. It’s great to use all year around to help dry and irritated skin. I add it to my bath, put it on right after a shower as a body oil, use on my face at night, and it can also be used on dry cuticles and hair before bed as a hydrating treatment. Basically, it’s a hydrating tool used for essentially everything.
I hope these products make your bath time that much more enjoyable. So, dim the lights, put on Lana Del Ray, light some candles, and your all set for a great laid-back night at home. :)
